What’s the Gig?
As a member of Whatnot’s Customer Experience team, you’ll be the superhero of customer satisfaction, ensuring that every interaction leaves their users with a smile on their face. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, includes:
- Interacting with buyers and sellers with a customer-first attitude, ensuring a positive experience.
- Resolving all customer issues regarding payments, orders, shipments, and general questions promptly and with high quality.
- Becoming an expert in Whatnot’s products, processes, and systems to drive positive outcomes for our users.
- Collaborating with other departments to troubleshoot, research, and resolve open questions.
- Seeking out opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and enhance the overall customer experience.
Who Whatnot is Looking for
Whatnot wants someone hungry to kickstart their career in a fast-paced environment, willing to tackle any challenge, learn new skills, and be an integral part of building something great. - 2+ years of support experience handling email and/or chat services.
- Weekend availability required (because superheroes don’t take weekends off!).
- Understanding of e-commerce and marketplace operations.
- Experience with customer-facing systems like Zendesk, Kustomer, or Intercom.
- Knowledge of collectibles is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or college experience preferred.
- Previous startup experience is a bonus.
